It was a very bright and loud night. One of us was dressed up as Gumby while the other was dressed in flannel. While I may not say who was which, it was obvious that if she stuck around after that – it was headed somewhere.
It wasn’t supposed to work, it wasn’t setup to last, we weren’t supposed to fit so well. I resisted, pushing her away but she just wouldn’t go. Seriously, she wouldn’t go (I tried). But it was okay, I overcame my fears, let my guard down and she won me over. Her ability to take on my antics along with my daughters has been amazing. She has been in a constant state of life progression since I met her. Starting school, buying her first (and second) car, making a steady paycheck and not settling for a job that is below her abilities. She’s pushed me closer to God and based our relationship in faith. I’m proud of her day in and day out and she’s proven to be the light of my life.Your love,
Jesse
